Privacy
What we collect
When you place a dataset order through the CLI or email [email protected], we collect the order-intake fields you provide:
- Name
- Email address
- Company (optional)
- Order details (SKU, cookbook slug, quantity, notes)
That is the entire intake surface. No fingerprinting, no behavioral profiling, no implicit collection.
What we store, and where
Order intake is stored in our sovereign D1-equivalent SQLite database, hosted on a Synology NAS we physically own — not in a third-party cloud database, not on a hyperscaler. This is a load-bearing differentiator: your order details do not leave infrastructure we control.
Order records are kept for the duration required for fulfillment, audit, receipts, and applicable tax/accounting retention windows.
What we share
Nothing. We do not run analytics trackers. We do not embed third-party JavaScript. We do not sell or share order data with ad networks. There is no "advertising partner" list because there is no advertising.
Third-party services we use (operationally)
- Resend — transactional email delivery only (order confirmations, invoices, download links). Email addresses pass through Resend in order to be delivered to you.
- Cloudflare — CDN and edge for swarmandbee.ai. Standard edge log retention applies (request metadata, IP, user agent — held by Cloudflare per their policy).
- Discord — internal order notification channel. We send a webhook ping when an order arrives; no message content is stored by us beyond what Discord retains for the notification channel itself.
- Stripe — invoice rail when the customer elects Stripe settlement. No card is kept on file by us; Stripe handles the payment instrument.
Email retention
Order-related emails (intake, invoice, delivery confirmation, sha256 manifests) are retained for audit and receipt continuity.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your order record at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will remove the record from our SQLite store within a reasonable processing window, retaining only what is required for legal/accounting compliance (e.g. invoice records).
Children
Swarm & Bee is a business-to-business dataset provider. Our offerings are not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
